MoveMe Project Shed Light on Disadvantaged Groups in Serbia with Movement-Based Activities!

In the MoveMe project, which took place in Serbia between 24 September and 2 October, our participants carried out activities to understand the importance of body language, gestures, facial expressions, movement-based activities such as dance and theater, especially when working with disadvantaged groups.


At the end of the project, they discovered together that thesearts are unifying forces that transform people's lives and bring societies together


The activities carried out within the scope of the project enabled the participants to discover the power of movement-based communication. In studies conducted with disadvantaged groups, the importance of body language and the expressive power of art was emphasized. These activities gave participants the ability to express their feelings, thoughts and experiences using different communication tools.


An important finding at the end of the project was that dance, theater and similar arts are unifying forces that transform people's lives and bring societies together. Participants observed that these activities increased social cohesion, strengthened communication and contributed especially to disadvantaged groups.
